BACK TO SCHOOL PROGRAM  |  CHRISTMAS PROGRAM  |  FIELD-TRIPS & SPORTS

    WHO ARE WE?

That's an excellent question.  We are just common ordinary people who believe that the fate of our children is the fate of our
community.  We have gathered together to follow a simple vision; to promote the growth an maturity of our children by assisting
them at their points of need.

Presently, our principle activity consists of creating an effective means of facilitating the physical, emotional, and intellectual
growth of the children within our area of influence.

        Our Current Objectives Are:
            ●  Scholastic Scholarships to award excellence and community involvement in high school.
            ●  Athletic Sponsorships and Equipment to provide every child an opportunity to participate in sports.
            ●  Creation of Summer Activity Programs to educate and inspire.
            ●  Creation of After School Programs for those children and families in need.
            ●  A Christmas Program to ensure every child has a merry and blessed Christmas
            ●  A Back to School Program to ensure that every child has the necessary supplies for school

During the summer months, while the kids are enjoying their vacation from school, we're just getting started.  We spend our
summer, gathering supplies and whatever we know kids are going to need to go back to school.  Every year, we try to ensure
every student going back to school has school supplies and a backpack to go back to school with.  School supplies are distributed to the schools as needed throughout the school year as well.
                WHAT CAN YOU DO?
               ●  Help sponsor a child going back to school.  The estimated cost is $75.00 a student.
               ●  Donate school supplies or new clothes for one or several children.  Call or email us for drop-off locations.
               ●  Make a monetary donation of any size.  Mail checks to P.O. Box 963, Burleson, TX 76097

Most children would tell you that Christmas is their favorite holiday.  Why not?  Everyone enjoys receiving gifts.  We get just as much enjoyment out of giving families a promise of a Christmas.  The way we look at it, how can we enjoy our Christmas, when we know somewhere in our own community a child has no gifts to open, because their family just couldn't afford it.
Every Christmas Heart for the Kids provides hundreds of children with the gifts they want, and a new set of clothes.
               SO HOW CAN YOU HELP?
             ●  Maybe your family or office would like to "adopt" a child or an entire family.  Call or email us for information.
             ●  Drop off new toy and new clothing donations at any of our many drop-off locations.
             ●  No matter the size, monetary donations are always appreciated.  Mail checks to P.O. Box 963, Burleson, TX 76097

Through out the year, we get calls from the schools and other organizations asking us to help sponsor a child's school field trip, sports equipment and/or physicals as required by the schools.  We do our best to fulfill those requests that we feel helps mold that child for a brighter future.  We have worked with the Burleson Police Department, Burleson Fire Department, Burleson Independent School District, Burleson Youth Association, American Red Cross, Child Protective Services as well as many other local organizations that have requested our assistance for someone they know needs help.  These projects often have to funded through our general fund.  Without the help of local companies, that contribute year-round to our organization, we would not be able to fulfill very many these requests, through out the year.

If your company is one of many looking for opportunities to give back, suggest they look in to Heart for the Kids!
We strongly appreciate the help of everyone in our community, that adds to our success!
